Hello and greetings from Clarksville, TN! I just wanted to share a very good experience I had being featured in The Residential Specialist, a magazine published by the Council of Residential Specialists.
The Council awards a designation called Certified Residential Specialists to experienced agents who have completed advanced training and who has meet rigorous production (sales volume) requirements. This designation proves that the agent has the training, experience, and commitment to be the best in their profession. It was such an honor for me to be selected and featured in the magazine, from a network of 33,000 real estate professionals from across the country.
About 3 months ago, I received a message here in Active Rain
from Gwen Moran, a writer for "The Residential Specialist" magazine.
She had reached out to me because she was writing a story about REALTOR
Safety. I was a bit hesitant at first, because the Realtor that
referred me to her was a name that was not ringing a bell. Before I
wrote her back, I had my assistant research their names to see if Ms.
Moran was a legitimate writer and that I was not being conned into doing
something.
It turns out that Ms. Moran is indeed a writer for "The Residential
Specialist". For her to reach out to me was such an honor. It was a great experience! I had a blast being interviewed
and meeting new people doing the photo shoot.
Not only was the whole experience exciting, but it was a reminder for me
of how to be safe in the real estate business. After several years of
being in the business, you tend to get too comfortable dealing with all
kinds of people in all kinds of different places. Along with this
comfort level, you often forget or over look the basics of "Safety 101".

Take a look and let me know what you think! Have a wonderful day!
